Multi-Vendor Grocery Ecommerce Marketplace
Tuulyn operates a multi vendor grocery marketplace built for the Malaysian market. The platform connects independent vendors, inventory management, and customer ordering into one digital commerce experience. With centralized admin operations and delivery workflows, Tuulyn brings convenience and operational clarity to grocery retail.
Scope of project
Traditional grocery shopping in the target market still relied on fragmented vendor operations and limited digital convenience.
Tuulyn needed a multi-vendor marketplace that could handle products, orders, categories, and delivery workflows with a strong admin layer.
Tuulyn had to solve a marketplace problem that looks simple from the outside and breaks quickly in production. Multiple grocery vendors needed to sell inside one storefront while inventory, categories, orders, customer accounts, and delivery stayed consistent. A flat ecommerce build would not survive that. The moment sellers, stock levels, and fulfillment diverge, customers get wrong availability, vendors lose control, and admins cannot operate the business.
The Malaysian grocery context made the brief sharper. Buyers expect digital convenience, but the platform still had to respect local vendor operations, product discovery, and delivery workflows. Tuulyn needed a multi vendor grocery marketplace that felt clean for shoppers and operationally complete for sellers and admins, without turning into a fragile stack of disconnected modules.
We treated Tuulyn as marketplace architecture first, not theme work. Discovery covered vendor onboarding, product listing management, inventory ownership, order states, customer accounts, and delivery handoff so every role had a clear path through the system. The information model kept vendor catalogs independent while still presenting one coherent shopping experience.
We built the platform on Node.js, Express, MySQL, and EJS with dynamic storefront pages, category systems, product search, and a centralized admin dashboard. Vendor management, inventory control, orders, and delivery workflows were connected into one operations layer. That gave Tuulyn a real multi vendor grocery ecommerce foundation: customers can shop, vendors can sell, and admins can run the marketplace without stitching tools together by hand.
Tuulyn now runs as a complete multi vendor grocery marketplace where customers, vendors, and admins operate inside one system. Product discovery, inventory control, orders, and delivery workflows are connected, so the platform feels like digital grocery commerce rather than a patchwork of tools. The business has a marketplace foundation engineered to scale vendor growth without rewriting the core commerce stack.
